What are your safety procedures for Balloon Twisting?
The twister will be applying hand sanitizer throughout the event. Guests are requested not to touch the balloons and balloon supplies.
What are your safety procedures for Face Painting?
The professional water based face paint is sprayed with sanitizing spray specially formulated for make up and tools. Painter will apply hand sanitizer throughout the event.
Painter uses the following procedures to promote a safe and entertaining event:
* Brush is washed in a soapy water solution.
* Brush rinsed in clean water
How long does face painting / air-brushing take?
It all depends on the design requested and how long it takes the child to communicate to the entertainer what they want and then let's not forget the "Mirror Moment" where they get to see how wonderful they look!
Small designs are not necessarily the quickest. On average you should budget between 5 minutes to 7 minutes per person. Ideally we like to work out the offered designs prior to the event, creating themed options if you like.
How do you remove the face paint?
For basic face painting, soap and water usually does the trick. Some paints that have heavier pigments may take a little longer to remove and gentle make up remover is suggested. Baby shampoo or make up remover Wipes have also been found to be effective. For Airbrushing, the paint is water resistant, NOT water proof. You can massage shower gel/ liquid soap into the design in order to break it up. Then wash with soap and water after a few minutes. Rubbing alcohol can also remove the airbrush paint.
What if one of my guests appears ill or injured?
To protect staff, integrity of equipment and fellow guests, anyone appearing to be ill or has a skin irritation will not be painted. They will be handed a temporary tattoo to put on at their leisure. Injured areas cannot be painted. We are not medical professionals but must err on the side of caution and safety. Painting is at the discretion of the painter.
How do I pay you?
For each event an agreement is drawn up and a $50 non refundable booking fee is required at time of contracting. We accept Cash, Certified Check, Zelle or Credit Card. Payment in full is requested prior to start of the event.
